The full trailer of Marvel's "Legion", the latest in a slew of upcoming TV shows, is finally out and it looks like a mental facility will play a central setting for the main character.
When the promotional trailer for "Legion" came out at Comic Con, we were treated to a better view of what direction the show is headed; which is heavy, thrilling, and downright weird.
In the video we see David Haller (played by Dan Stevens) being interviewed by a man in a suit inside an interrogation room. Haller was trying to tell them about an incident where he kissed a girl and suddenly switched places with her. We are then treated to a montage of time-bending action, mind altering visuals, and a Bollywood dance scene.
Two more trailers followed and they just got weirder.
Take for example one of the videos which features David Haller and his friend Lenny (Aubrey Plaza) just staring intently at a drooling man in an asylum.
For all of you who still have a hard time figuring out what the show is about, check out the synopsis as stated in Comicbook:
"Legion is the story of a troubled young man who may be more than human. It introduces the story of David Haller, who since he was a teenager, has struggled with mental illness. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he's confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real."
FX' "Legion" is starting to look like a real doozy and creator Noah Hawley's vision looks interesting and definitely worth a look out for.
The Marvel TV series is set to premiere around early 2017.
