Pokemon Go Tips And Tricks: Do Not Transfer Your Common Pokemon Right Away

A wild Pidgey appears! You capture and trade it for candy right away without even thinking to check it out thoroughly before deciding to trade. Today, we are going to tackle about common Pokemon in Pokemon Go and the possibilities of them being helpful in the battle. New players and most veterans don't know this yet so better stick your nose on your monitor and read through.

Though these 'common' Pokemon generally don't stand a chance battling against rare ones in Pokemon Go, you will still have a fight if you evolve the right ones properly and make them best counter-picks for gym defenders - which we had a separate article about. If you screw one up, then it's okay, you have plenty of them spawning around everywhere.

As posted by the good guys at OtakuArt.com, it is important to note that these are common Pokemon, so there shouldn't be a problem collecting candies for them to evolve and power up. Second, it is also important to bear in mind that some might take up to the last evolution so you can get a complete move set so they'll have the chance battling hard-to-beat Pokemon.

Here are the tips for each common Pokemon:

Pidgeot (2nd evolution of Pidgey)

This might have a silly name but it can pack a serious punch. It is said to be one of the strongest flying Pokemon and yet you get them everywhere in a form of Pidgey. Pidgeot can beat any grass type Pokemon, i.e. Venusaur or Victreebell. The best move for this bird: Wing Attack + Hurricane.

Raticate (evolution of Rattata)

Best feature: very good Defense Per Second (DPS) even at low CP. It can take tons of damage and can dodge easily. Best moveset: Bite + Hyper Beam. In addition, Stab and Bite enhances its dodges.

Parasect (evolution of Paras)

Gyaradoses, Blastoises, Vaporeons, and other water Pokemon gym defenders will have lower chance winning against Parasect. Best moveset: Solar Beam and Fury Cutter. Provided with proper CP and power up, it can stand up to almost any water Pokemon, even those with a tad higher CP. Solar Beam is essential for Parasect too.

Venomoth (evolution of Venonat)

This last one needs a few practices to perfect. Venomoth makes a good counter for Exeggutor provided these requirements are met: need to have 2 bug type moves plus any psychic attack. If you got those 2 then your Venomoth is the best bet against a Exeggutor. Best moveset: Bug Bite + Bug Buzz.

With those in mind, we bet you can now be the very best. Being resourceful enough in any game makes you a good gamer. Please hit us with your comments below.
