Since Bandai Namco confirmed the release of the upcoming expansion pack of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 entitled Road to Boruto, fans are excited to experience the DLC as it releases by early next year. Based on the reports, the said downloadable content will feature several game additions, extra adventures and scenarios on the main plot. In addition, it is reported that Road to Boruto DLC will feature Kinshiki. However, it has been expected after the company revealed actual footage of the said character vs Sasuke days ago.
According to Otakukart, this year's Ultimate Ninja Storm will go full gear just like the previous ninja storm 3. If that is the case, it would entail too much time upon finishing the game. Knowing that they had a deadline to catch. However, Bandai Namco has already set an official date of release for the said Naruto game's expansion pack. Anime News Network mentions that Road to Boruto will be offered as a physical release, digital download release and a DLC update release.
Based on the reports from Gematsu, Road to Boruto aims on expanding the game with the expected new characters Boruto and Sarada, a new plot following the adventures of Boruto and a new areas in the Hidden Leaf that is set to be explored. In addition, the DLC will also feature the previously mentioned Sasuke and Kinshiki battle. Sources said that the reported new playable characters will be available on both online and offline Battle modes.
Lastly, the physical release includes Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 main game and all its previous DLCs plus the new Road to Boruto additional content. Both physical and digital releases will cost 6,800 yen or nearly about $66 while DLC update is much lesser at 2,400 yen or $23.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 'Road to Boruto' DLC will be released on February 2, 2016 for all major platforms on Japan, followed by North America and Europe on the next day.
