Lots of Tom Clancy's The Division fans are still hopeful that the game shall reclaim its former glory soon. And yes, these despite the amount of bugs and/or issues it has. Heck, this even snowballed when the upcoming Public Test Server was announced. Unfortunately, this -- along with the special State of the Game -- was delayed. Obviously, this doesn't sit well to the community.
According to Ubisoft's official forum site, the developers of Tom Clancy's The Division has to delay the said show due to the fact that they wouldn't be able to showcase all the content they want to. Nevertheless, the studio iterated that they'll instead -- for the time being -- move forward with the weekly State of the Game. From there, players can expect "more concrete solutions" that are expected to arrive in update 1.4.
Sure enough, the announcement is something that the fans of Tom Clancy's The Division didn't like. After all, they have been expecting for it to happen. But hey, the disappointment doesn't last there. The highly anticipated Public Test Server has also been postponed.
As previously reported here at iTech Post, the Tom Clancy's The Division Public Test Server was supposed to be unleashed come Thursday this week. However, as also stated on the aforementioned forum site, it'll not be made available.
The developers of Tom Clancy's The Division explained that they would be needing more time so as to include other key elements. The decision to do so came after the test they did along with the Elite Task Force. According to them, these elements are so crucial to the development of the game that they need utmost focus so as to introduce them in update 1.4.
In one way or another, it's still a bad news to the Tom Clancy's The Division community as a whole. In fact, when the game's official Twitter posted the announcement, it was plagued with various hate comments. See some of them below.
@TheDivisionGame PVE DZ FTW! Sick of the hacking and over powered players in the DZ - they can do their own shit. I'm not interested anymore

@TheDivisionGame well I'm glad you don't research cures or run a country
