Jaden Smith Not Dead; Victim Of Social Media Hoax

The social media has murdered another celebrity once again with another death hoax. Contrary to the rumors currently circulating on the social media, "Karate Kid" star Jaden Smith is alive and doing well.

According to reports, a viral internet death hoax claims that Jaden Smith has committed suicide after uploading a video message which contains his plan to kill himself as well as a farewell to his father, popular actor Will Smith.

Two internet new sites have written the report regarding Jaden Smith's apparent suicide, Hollywood Life reported. It is also not the first time that Jaden was reported dead as a similar death hoax went into circulation just last month.

The report further explained that a tweeted picture of the 18-year-old Hollywood actor's girlfriend, Sarah Snyder, 21, which showed her on a bed with another guy further added fuel to the fire as rumors began to circulate that he decided to commit suicide due to his girlfriend's cheating.

Mirror UK says the hoax, which needs a user's permission to be posted, has been trending in the social media for a week now. The fake article link contains a headline and a photo of the actor to make it look credible at first glance. And although Jaden Smith is active in his social media accounts, many fans were still fooled and reposted the link.

Hollywood Life also revealed that Jaden Smith and his girlfriend were on a double date with Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth just a few days ago and was also spotted in Manhattan, New York on September 10, Saturday.

The Daily Mail also reported that Jaden Smith and Sarah Snyder met with Kendall Jenner at Gigi Hadid's apartment to attend an event.

Other celebrities who had once been victimized by such death hoaxes in social media include Angelina Jolie, Miley Cyrus, Sylvester Stallone and Jack Black
