Limited 'Final Fantasy XV' Luna Edition PS4 To Hit Stores In November

"Final Fantasy XV" fans have a reason to celebrate after Square Enix revealed they will release slim PlayStation 4 consoles with the limited Lunar Edition skin. The announcement came today during the company's TGS press conference in Tokyo, Japan. The limited edition game consoles will be available on Nov. 29.

The Luna Edition is a slimmer version of the PS4 and the first limited edition Playstation. According to Square Enix's Hajime Tabata, the PS4 game console will come with the "Final Fantasy XV" game and a rental of "Kingsglaive," the CG spin-off movie of the game, and an exclusive PS4 system theme. The bundle will cost around 39,980 yen (around $390) when it hit the stores.

And because the announcement is about FFXV, the game company also gave fans a peek at the Final Fantasy XV trailer. Although there's not much action seen in the trailer, fans get to see who the characters are in the 2016 edition of the game. It also revealed that FFXV 2016 will have a new story far different from the previous one.

The trailer, which was still dubbed in Japanese, showed some dramatic and emotionally-charged scenes. Judging from the short sneak peek, the main characters' personalities will play a big factor in the storyline, especially in conflicts of the story.

The preview also showed Luna who is portrayed as a very strong character in the soon-to-be released game. There are also hints that she will have a strong inclination towards politics. However, there are fans who expressed disappointment over Luna's new look, with some saying that the graphics are worse than the previous one.

Aside from this complaint, there is more bad news, at least for FFXV fans in the West. The limited edition PlayStation4 bundle is only available in Japan. There are still no announcements when it will be released in the United States and other countries, so "Final Fantasy" fans outside Japan will have to wait just a little longer.
