It is no doubt how the revival of "Prison Break" and its coming season five has created a buzz in social media as the fans of the series wait for its comeback on television.

Dominic Purcell Thanks Fans For All The Support Of Upcoming "Prison Break" Season 5

"Prison Break" is now one of the most anticipated and talked about television series to date and it hasn't even aired yet. Just recently, actor Dominic Purcell expressed his gratitude towards the fans by posting on his Instagram account.

Actor Dominic Purcell plays the role of Lincoln in "Prison Break," the brother of the protagonist of the series Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller). On his Instagram account, he extended his excitement on the upcoming season premiere, all the more knowing that the fans of the series are even more excited than him and the rest of the cast.

He shared a screenshot of an article saying that "Prison Break" is 20 times more anticipated than all the other new and upcoming TV shows. This has come as no surprise since the series has been one of the most-watched TV shows when it aired a few years back. He expresses his humility and that also of the cast, by the overflowing support that their television drama has been getting since the announcement of their return.

Wentworth Miller On Coming Back As Michael Scofield After Many Controversies Over The Years

As it can be recalled, Michael Scofield has been presumed dead during the season four finale of "Prison Break back in 2009 and actor Wentworth Miller who plays the role has been a subject of many controversies throughout the duration of the show's hiatus. From coming out of the closet and announcing he was gay, to the fat-shaming memes that have been made of the actor; he now feels that coming back to play the role is a great responsibility to the fans.

There have also been speculations that the series will already conclude once and for all in the upcoming "Prison Break" season five but there has been no confirmation to it. With the release date still unannounced, the fans are just excited to see them escape prison once more. However, it has been confirmed to air on Spring 2017.
