Britney Spears chooses Justin Timberlake as one of the people she dreams to have collaborations with. Timberlake responds with "Absolutely, absolutely,"
Spears was asked in "Most Requested Live with Romeo" who are the people she wishes to have collaborations with, Spears first answered with a few of the most talented artists.
"Aerosmith seems really good and bright. He's a genius I think. He's very rock n' roll. He sings from his soul. Gwen Stefani, I think she's great,"
And then she adds "Justin Timberlake is very good."
Marc Malkin of E! News asks Timberlake his reply at the premiere of his concert documentary film in Netflix "Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids"
"She did? Sure! Absolutely, absolutely,"
Timberlake admitted that now he is not always updated with the headline news because he's busy with his 17-month-old baby.
"I apologize for not being in the know...I'm accessible, give us a call!" he added.
It can be remembered that Timberlake wrote a breakup song allegedly for Spears titled "Cry Me A River". But Spears said she has no hard feelings against him and genuinely thinks he is talented.
Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears were both members of "The Mickey Mouse Club" way back when they were kids. They grew up together and started to fall in love in 1999. However, in 2002, reports claim that Spears cheated on Timberlake and inspired him to write the breakup song that he featured in his debut album "Justified".
"Cry Me a River" became an instant hit, receiving acclaims from music critics. The song also earned several recognitions including one of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" at 484, Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, reached number 3 in US Billboard Hot 100 and certified gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) and the Syndicat National de l'édition Phonographique (SNEP).
