Dylan O’Brien Is A Merciless CIA Agent In “American Assassin”

Dylan O’Brien temporarily dropped his adorable characters as Stiles of “Teen Wolf” and Thomas of “Maze Runner” as he sports a ruthless persona as a CIA agent in the new film “American Assassin.”

The movie’s official Twitter account gave fans a first look of O’Brien as the central character of “American Assassin.

The photo looks like O’Brien is not afraid to kill. Of course, CIA Mitch Rapp (O’Brien) will take greater heights of vengeance after his girlfriend got killed in a terrorist attack.

Directed by Michael Cuesta, Lionsgate’s upcoming action film is based on Vince Flynn’s bestselling 15-book series of the same title.

According to MTV, the 25-year-old actor will play the role of CIA black ops agent Rapp who is taught by Cold War veteran Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton). Rapp and Hurley are recruited by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy (Sanaa Lathan) to explore a sequence of random attacks that targets military and civilian. After discovering a pattern in the attacks, the duo collaborated with a Turkish agent (Shiva Negar) to end an operative (Taylor Kitsch) that aims to wage a war in the Middle East.

Having noted the brief plot of the thriller movie, we are sure that O’Brien fans will not miss this film. It seems like the star is too busy juggling his roles both in tv and movie and he’s still able to give his incredible performances.

He will be returning in the final season of the hit series “Teen Wolf.” In a prior report of iTech Post, it was mentioned that Stiles will be one of the victims of season 6’s villains, the Ghost Riders. They have the ability to wipe away a person's existence in the eyes of those around him and his memories.

O’Brien is one lucky guy for nailing remarkable roles. We’ll keep our eyes on him for more juicy updates.
