It seems the craze over Pokemon GO continues to snowball each day, most especially with the arrival of a new update. While the latter offered a very interesting feature (Buddy System), almost all players are hoping for new creatures to arrive. Unfortunately though, this won't be happening -- at least anytime soon -- but hey, there's a catch.
It holds true, however, that Niantic has every reason to release brand new Pokemon GO creatures in the future. The only catch, as reported by Android Headlines, is that players have to wait a little bit. The thing is that the company only wants to move forward with such direction as soon as the game's global rollout happens.
Nevertheless, the company is looking to give Pokemon GO players a very interesting treat. Brand new Pokemon will be introduced in real world. That means, fans can expect the studio to reveal these creatures in gaming events or launches -- something that is far from the usual simple game patches.
The big Pokemon GO reveal was courtesy of John Hanke, the CEO of Niantic Labs. In a TechCrunch Disrupt event, he mentioned about the studio's desire to release new Pokemon into the real world as well as in "gaming events where that might be showcased." Hanke also iterated that they hope to have these concepts "synchronized" in the future.
It's safe to say, though, that the aforementioned process could be quite rigorous, especially for Pokemon GO having a large player pool. However, the team is said to be delivering various official events in the next few months or so.
In fact, these Pokemon GO events could take inspiration from the ones Niantic did in the past. Ingress, in particular, is a great template to follow. The game, however, is currently in development. But of course, the aforementioned events wouldn't necessarily happen anytime soon. This is most especially with the fact that the studio is currently working on some in-game issues and/or forthcoming updates.
