Earlier this month, Android Authority , citing an anonymous Asus representative, reported that Asus will launch both WiFi only and an LTE version of the Transformer Pad Infinity by the end of June. The LTE version will be running on the AT&T network, added the report.
"We've been told that Asus encountered production issues with upstream suppliers, but they are now solved and all the pieces are falling into place for the TF700 launch," said the report.
The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T first appeared at CES 2012 back in January. The company has announced the launch of three device variants: a WiFi-only version, an HSPA+ version, and an LTE version. The Pad Infinity will come with a 10-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS display and quad-core Tegra 3 SoC inside (Wi-Fi Only variants)/ dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor (4G LTE variants), 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 25Wh battery, Bluetooth 3.0, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel at the front, Ice Cream Sandwich OS and 8GB of free lifetime cloud storage.
