Publisher 2K Games and Yager have released the official launch trailer of their upcoming third-person shooter video game "Spec Ops: The Line."
The new game’s squad-based action is highlighted by an intelligent squad command system that allows players to unnoticeably take out insurgents as they advance into the heart of Dubai. Players will make their way through sandstorms with a host of weapons and explosives.
Players will also have the option of using sand as a weapon to tactically bury enemies in their path. By combining extreme action with an enthralling narrative and the unique setting of a sandstorm ravaged Dubai, “Spec Ops: The Line” stands out from most of the military shooters in the market.
The game will also offer an expansive, class-based multiplayer experience. The multiplayer mode features squad-based games that encourage players to make use of the sand-filled surrounding.
"Spec Ops: The Line" will follow the story of player character Captain Martin Walker as he is sent into a post-catastrophe Dubai with an elite Delta Force bravo team. The team, along with the player, is deployed to search for US Army Colonel John Konrad, a founding member of Delta Force, who is believed to be missing in action along with his men.
The game is set to arrive on June 26 on current generation consoles and PC.
