Assasin's Creed photos from the movie adaptation have surfaced online that left fans more excited and curious about the movie.
One of the photos found online shows Michael Fassbender, playing Callum Lynch and ancestor Aguilar, in the iconic outfit and showing off the hidden blades. What makes the photo more interesting is the background which was identified by fans as the Templar Headquarters AKA Abstergo Industries where Lynch is detained.
In the game, the Templars have accomplished a lot with the help of science but time traveling is not one of them. Therefore fans identifying the character in the photos as Lynch and only dressing up as Aguilar. According to speculations, the skills that Lynch has acquired can help him escape Abstergo Industries.
For those who are not familiar with the game's storyline, a person who has an assassin ancestor are placed on the "Animus" which allows them to also learn their ancestor's skills. This procedure is called "Bleeding Effect". This is the basis why fans believe Lynch can escape the facility of Abstergo Industries if he wants to.
Other photos that made fans more crazy about the upcoming movie shows Fassbender aiming a bow, riding the horse and hangs from above while half of him is under water.
Assasin's Creed is created by Ubisoft and started as an action-adventure video game. It consists of 9 main games that can be played through Playstation 3, 4, Vita, and Portable, Xbox 360 and One, Microsoft Windows, OS X, Nintendo DS, iOS, HP webOS, Nokia Symbian, Android, Windows Phone and Wii U.
The game is a fiction story set in real world events and incorporated century-old issues between assassins and fighting for freedom and peace. Templars desire peace as well but through control.
Assasin's Creed game series has been well accepted globally and as of April 2014 has sold over 73 million units becoming the best-selling franchise of Ubisoft. The series is inspired by the novel by Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol "Alamut".
Assasin's Creed movie is scheduled to hit the big screen on December 21.
