Resident Evil 7 is now dropping new details during the Tokyo Game Show in Makuhari Messe about the game's expectation prior on its release. Aside from the new trailer shown, the developers confirmed an update for the Beginning Hour that will bring a creepier aura to the game. However, the most shocking revelation is the sudden price increase of the Deluxe Edition.
According to VG247, the price has ballooned up to $10 from the previously reported $79.99 to $89.99 as to date. It was explained by the developers that the reason behind the sudden increase is that they have added an extra episode to the game's plot. The Deluxe Edition will include the season pass for the two extra episode and the main game itself. In addition, for those who had already pre-ordered the version from the PlayStation Store in North America will receive the third episode for free.
Based on the reports from Gaming Bolt, both standard and deluxe edition pre-orders will include the Survival Pack: Recovery Set together with a mysterious Lucky Coin. The recovery set was describe as a box of curing items that players will receive every time they start a new game.
As what VG247 reported, it will be a great deal for those who want to avail of the standard and deluxe versions. Survival Pack: Recovery Set will give players a jam-packed load of consumable healing items that will automatically appear in the inventory. Players will also have the chance to play Madhouse mode difficulty level in a get-go instead of completing a run-through at first. Just like what was reported by Gaming Bolt, a mysterious in-game lucky coin will be also thrown. The PS4 theme will also come as a pre-order bonus for those who will order the game at the NA PlayStation store.
