“The Fall” is slated to premiere its third installment by end of this month and is marked by speculations that it will be the final season along with Jamie Dornan’s departure from the show.
Jamie Dornan To Bid Farewell On “The Fall”
Jamie Dornan (Paul Spector) and Gillian Anderson (Stella Gibson) are returning on the latest season of “The Fall” but this might be Dornan’s last bite on the show.
To recall, season 2 concluded with a major cliffhanger when Spector andTom Anderson (Colin Morgan) were shot a violent criminal. Gibson, on the other hand, is reported to fight for Spector to keep him alive.
The tragic incident that put Paul’s life in danger made fans worried that he might not survive the shooting hence, his death will be proclaimed.
The “Fifty Shades” star has not released any comment yet about the fate of his character in “The Fall” but his supporters wanted him to stay.
We can only raise our hopes higher that Paul will emerge as a fighter and that he will live.
"Obviously I don't want to give anything away about how the third series will end but I can say that I am looking forward to working with both Gillian and Jamie again in the near future," said series creator and writer Allan Cubitt.
Showrunner Dropped Hints On Season 4 Renewal
It would be too early to discuss about future seasons when the upcoming one has not been released yet.
The stunning performance of BBC Two’s thriller is an exception. Fans are eager to learn every piece of information that they can gather about the progress of the series.
Cubitt hinted during an interview about the possibility of a season 4 renewal.
"It's not the end of The Fall necessarily," Cubitt said without providing more details.
His response may be simple and a bit playful but it’s more than enough to satisfy the curiosity of the viewers.
