Out of nowhere, a possible follow-up to "Metro: Last Light" has made a glimmer of hope to its fans since the beginning of the month.
Ukraine-based 4A Games continued the tongue-in-cheek fan predictions with a couple more "Metro: Last Light" images thrown into both their Facebook and Twitter accounts, as reported by PC Gamer.
Validations from followers of the video game studios were probably put into a lot of guesswork with their calculations on what seems to be like a "part of the body" images posted on social media.
The one on Facebook clearly shows the end of an arm, including fingers and thumb; grasping a sort of weapon. While the other image on Twitter has a retro-feel with what seems like to be an Atari console joystick.
These latest "Metro: Last Light" screenshots are simply the continuing updates on a 4A Games post last September 1. The previous image was of the studio itself done in a 360-degree shot which included a wide-screen monitor with a ticking timer. Video game buffs will be quick to note that the ongoing countdown displayed will end as the same time for the start of the conference for the Oculus Connect 3.
Added rumors as mentioned in the website pertain to the notion that 4A Games is cooking-up another VR project as of the moment. The studio however, has remained tight-lipped on their next move.
Check-out 4A Games Facebook page as these plans could all come into fruition.
Meanwhile, "Metro: Last Light" had generated a lot of praise with its stealth and survival horror features packed into a single-player, post-apocalyptic-themed, first-person shooter video game.
Last 2014, Oles Shishkovstov, the chief technical officer of 4A Games, mentioned that they are now concentrating on a "sandbox-type" game with less linearity but still driven by a narrative-element on i Chief technical officers gameplay.
