Fans of the hit anime "Dragon Ball Super" are frantic with excitement for the forthcoming episode 59, which promises another exciting episode of Goku's latest quest to unveil the true nature of his foes. Unfortunately, fans need to wait a little bit longer as the much-awaited episode has been delayed this week.
According to Movie News Guide, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 59, which was supposed to air Sunday, Sept. 18, won't push through. Fans have to wait a week later, on Sept. 25, to catch Goku in his lastest adventures.
In episode 58 entitled "Zamasu and Black: Their Mystery Deepens," fans saw how Zamasu and doppleganger, Black Goku, overpowered Son Goku and the rest of the Z fighters, giving them a resounding defeat.
The story moves on with Whis, mentor to Beerus god of destruction, speculating that Zamasu might have used "a time ring" to travel forward in time, allowing him to evade the tedious time requirements needed to gather all eight dragon balls and make a wish to Shenglong.
Whis shrewdly guesses that the wish he made was to have a servant who is a black copy of Son Goku.
Whis' theory suggests that this might be the reason why Black Goku could overpower Son Goku despite being in his Super Saiyan God mode, which even Beerus praised as a very powerful form.
Whis further extrapolates his theory saying that Zamasu now needs another time ring for Black Goku so that both can once again jump forward in time and make another wish.
This time Whis believes that the evil duo will command Shenglong to give them immortality.
At the moment Zamasu only has one time ring for himself and he needs another one for Black Goku.
The only person near Zamasu who has time rings is his long-time mentor and friend, Master Gowasu.
Gamenguide suggests that the dark and treacherous Zamasu will assassinate his mentor Gowasu to get the time ring that is in his custody to protect.
Son Goku speculates that Zamasu has another intention: he wants to permanently dispose of his teacher to close off any possibility for anyone to find out his weaknesses which apparently Master Gowasu only knows.
Other spoilers suggest that, based on "Dragon Ball Super" episode 59's teaser trailer, Beerus is skeptical of Goku's speculation that Zamasu is out to assassinate his mentor and friend to acquire the time rings.
The god of destruction demands for more evidence before he pronounces judgment.
Beerus and Goku, through Whis' magic, saw Master Gowasu receiving a cup of green tea and white snacks from Zamasu. The old mentor curiously asks what the white snacks are because in the past Zamasu usually only served him tea.
The scene shifts and fans are horrified to see that Master Gowasu had dropped his cup and spilled his green tea across the table, suggesting that he got poisoned by his back-stabbing disciple.
Fans need to wait and see what will really happen when Episode 59 finally airs next Sunday.
To fans' delight, future episodes "Dragon Ball Super" have also been revealed: Episode 60 will be entitled "Back to the Future: Goku Black's Identity Revealed" while episode 61 is called " Zamasu's Ambition Presenting the Zero Mortal Plan."
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 60 will hit TV screens on Oct. 2. Episode 61 will air five days after.
