The sixth installment of the legal drama “Suits” marked its midseason finale with shocking revelations leaving the fans in awe with Jessica Pearson’s (Gina Torres) departure and the teasing romance of Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) and Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht).
While “Suits” Season 6 Episode 11 is pending, spoilers are cooking interesting details that shouldn’t be missed.
Gina Torres To Reprise Her Role In The Series?
Episode 10 revealed Jessica’s unexpected leaving of the Pearson Specter Litt law firm that she co – founded. She decided to step down from her promising career as a highly intellectual lawyer and join her beau Jeff Malone (D.B. Woodside) in Chicago instead.
While a flurry of reactions noted that Torres’ exit in the series is her final appearance, Pearson and showrunner Aaron Korsh say otherwise.
“Don’t count Jessica out on Suits, ‘cause those boys are going to mess up and they’re going to have to call me. I believe that. I don’t know when, I don’t know how, but that story’s not done, ‘cause everybody comes back,” Torres related to Entertainment Weekly when asked about her possible comeback in the show.
Korsh supported Torres’ thoughts in another interview.
“I don’t think it is the last we’ll see of Jessica,” he says, adding, “If it were up to me, I would never say goodbye to Jessica until the end of the show.”
With the major hints dropped by one of the show’s key figures and the executive producer, the long – time supporters of “Suits” have a grand reason to put their hopes high.
Donna And Harvey Give Romance A Second Try
Harvey was greatly affected when Jessica left the firm as the latter acted as her mother / mentor. In his solitude, Donna reached out to him consoling his hurt feelings which led the two to holding each other’s hands. The sweet silent gesture hinted the viewers of a rekindled romance between the two.
According to Korsh, "It was her being there for him in a vulnerable time and deepening their intimacy with each other."
