Prior to the big launch of the Xbox One Exclusive game "Gears of War 4" on Oct. 11, Microsoft Studios and The Coalition tease fans of the game with a dramatic trailer that gives a preview of the gameplay. The Coalition also reveals that the game's PC version will include support for split screen co-op after the overwhelming requests for the feature in the "Gears of War Ultimate."
As announced during the E3 in 2015, "Gears of War 4" was developed by The Coalition not by Epic Games. Set 25 years after the war between the Locust and the rest of humanity, this game would start another trilogy.
Marcus Fenix appears in the trailer although the game's protagonists would be his son, JD Fenix, and his friends Kait Diaz and Del Walker. Together they will face the Coalition of Ordered Government after the organization declares martial law.
The newest installment in the "Gears of War" franchise sustains the dramatic flair of previous "Gears of War" trailers. The mood is even heightened by the Lissie's rendition of the hit Metallica song "Nothing Else Matters."
"Gears of War 4" is available in both an offline campaign and an online multiplayer version. Gamespot reports that Rod Fergusson of The Coalition confirmed that the Xbox One version will have the split -screen co-op feature.
This time, there would also be a Horde mod. Much the same from previous installments, "Gear 4" would have third-person gameplay although there would be new options for the kind of weapons you can use. Players would also be facing new enemies. The key element in this game is the weather which could affect the weapon's assault power and the terrain in general.
"Gears of War 4" is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, so players can save the game whether they get it through Windows 10 or 11 or Xbox One.
