'Gravity Rush 2' Will Feature Kat's Origins

Gravity Rush 2 will feature the origins of Kat, the leading protagonist for the game. On top of that, those who went to the recent Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2016) also had the opportunity to see some of the sequel's in-game characters.

The latest trailer first aired in TGS 2016, you can also view it below - don't worry, which reveals clues about where our protagonist, Kat, came from. The forthcoming videogame will uncover the mystery behind her and how she got the powers to manipulate gravity, Yidaba reports.

What's New?

The highly-anticipated game will have a mode where players can obtain 3 different styles to controlling gravity. Their choices will be Lunar, Jupiter, and the classic one from Gravity Rush.

The Lunar Style

This mode makes the player light as a feather, allows Kat to jump higher, move faster.

The Jupiter Style

This mode makes Kat heavier, having the advantage to increase the impact on attacks.

PlayStationLifeStyle reports that the new trailer showcases a lot of characters for the sequel. The characters featured are Kat the Gravity Shifter - our heroine, Delta Team, Night Gale, Durga the Angel of Destruction, Kali the Guardian Angel. On top of that, it also features the world of Hekseville, and a quick tease about the world above it.

The trailer description reads that Kat will be going to tackle another mindboggling quest as new danger emerges - as usual. Raven will be at her side this time and Kat must master to control the 3 unique gravity styles, combining them for an efficient attack. New enemies and bosses also lineup for the new adventure.

The first game was rolled out in 2012 gaining a lot of praises from critics. It got remastered for the PS4, upscaling the graphics. Along with the game's similarities will be the new features to keep the excitement going for Gravity Rush 2.

Gravity Rush 2 will be roll out on Nov. 30 exclusively for the PlayStation 4. You can check out the game's Tokyo Game Show trailer below:
