Here Are The List Of PS4 Games That Will Not Receive An Upgrade

Sony has released the list of games that will receive the new PS4 Pro support back several weeks ago. Currently, a new list has been revealed, however, this list of games are the exact opposite of the first list. It was previously reported that PS4 Pro will support both 4K and 1080p displays which will exploit the extra game graphics and give a smoother frame rate. Unfortunately, not all PS4 games will be getting these updates.

According to Gamespot, some of the previously released games will feature the new PS4 Pro support through an update while others will get the augmentations after their respective releases. As of the moment, it is still unclear on how many games will benefit the PS4 Pro support. Thankfully, Mark Cerny, did tease some details which give fans some updates on what games are to be featured.

According to IGN, the most recent game that will not have a PS4 Pro support is 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.' It has been confirmed by CD Projekt Red. The developer said that it would cost too much time if they will include the conversion of The Witcher 3 considering their focus primarily was developing Cyberpunk 2077 and Gwent. CD Projekt Red also added that even if The Witcher 3 PC version runs on 4K, it will be a different option for PlayStation Pro 4.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is also joined by action RPG game 'Destiny' that will opt out on the new PS4 support. Bungie said that the patch is not their priority as of the moment. However, he added that it will come at some point in the future.

On other news, CD Projekt Red announces the 'Game of the year' edition of The Witcher 3 which includes all the game and all of its previously released DLC plus the Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine Expansion.
