Gundam Versus will soon have a closed alpha test soon. However, Bandai Namco said the test play will only be restricted to PS4 players only.
Gundam Versus Closed Alpha Details
The closed alpha play will first be offered to Japan gamers although the exact date has not been set. The upcoming Gundam Versus is being developed for the PlayStation 4. Traditionally, Gundam games are made for the arcade. The Gundam Versus is an exclusive PS4 console game
The Gundam Versus PS4 version game will also feature new game modes as well. The closed alpha test however, will be conducted offline.
Gundam Versus Announcement, Release Date
Bandai Namco announced the development of Gundam Versus for the PS4 at the recent PlayStation event held in Japan. The developer also presented a teaser video for the upcoming game. The Gundam characters and game graphics look good. The Gundam Versus storyline has yet to be divulged by Bandai Namco.
The two-minute video showed the evolution of the Gundam series game. The Gundam Versus demo play was introduced halfway through the two-minute video. The Gundam Versus developer has not set an official release date yet. Bandai also did not make any possible mention of an Xbox One or Windows PC version for the upcoming game.
The upcoming game is set to commemorate the 15th year anniversary of the Gundam series. The first game was Gundam DX initially released on 2001 while the latest was Extreme V5 Force which was released last year.
Bandai Namco's Other Upcoming Game Titles
Bandai Namco is set to release other PS4 games this year such as Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Sword Art Online: Hallow Realization. The game publisher will also release additional games next year such as Tekken 7, Digimon World: Next Order and Ace Combat 7.
