HTC One V Lands on Virgin Mobile for $199.99

The HTC One V, which was unveiled at Mobile World Congress this February, now has landed on Virgin Mobile for $199.99, without a two-year contract.

Even though One V is a member of the prestigious One family, it has always lacked the flagship grandeur of the series. On the other hand, the One X smartphone stood out among the rest with its impressive looks and brilliant functionalities.

One V has been criticized for its smaller 3.7-inch display size, a distinct chin' (as almost all leading tech reviewers pointed out), lack of secondary camera and a small processor.

One V sports a 3.7-inch, 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen, version 4.0of HTC Sense user interface, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GHz Qualcomm S2 SoC, Adreno 205 GPU, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card, a 5-megapixel rear camera anda Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery.

Alongside, HTC One V has WiFi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, tri-band HSPA (850/900/2100), and supports 14.4Mbps down and 5.6Mbps up and quad-band GPRS (850/900/1800/1900) radios.

Virgin Mobile plans start at $35 with 300 minutes and unlimited data and texts.

Meanwhile, rumors say that the same HTC phone is also coming on US Cellular and Metro PCS network.
