Apple has issued an update to its iWork apps suite for Mac on Tuesday Sept. 20.

According to Computerworld, the updated iWork came alongside the release of macOS 10.12 Sierra. The updated iWork version provides all the productivity most of the users need. The flagship improvement in Apple's apps suite consists in the introduction of real time collaboration in beta version, a move that matches Office Online and Google Docs.
According to Apple Insider, Apple's the added real-time collaboration works cross-platform, with users on iCloud.com, iPad and iPhone. The updated iWork apps Numbers 4.0, Keynote 7.0 and Pages 6.0 are available now to download from the Mac App Store.
Users will be able to share their file publicly with colleagues after updating the iWork app suite. They will also be able to see who else is edition or viewing their files at the moment. The editing tools based on the cloud also make it possible for users to see other participants' cursors as they edit.
Apple promised earlier this month to implement the real-time, cross-platform collaboration in its iWork apps suite. The high-tech company has updated one week ago its iWork suite for iOS, alongside the launch of iOS 10. On Tuesday, Sept. 20, Apple has introduced the same feature for the Mac users of iWork app suite.
At the moment, Apple's real-time collaboration feature comes only in beta version. The real-time, cross-platform collaboration allows users to edit documents, presentations, or spreadsheets with colleagues at the same time across macOS, iOS and web.
Apple's iWork Pages update also allows users to open and edit documents created in the older version of Pages '05. Users have now the ability to work with wide color gamut images and use tabs in order to work with multiple documents in one window.
The Keynote Live feature has been introduced by the Keynote's update, allowing users to present a slideshow that viewers can follow on their iCloud.com, iPhone, iPad and Mac. The new Keynote 6.0 version also adds wide color gamut image support, tab support and support for Keynote '05 presentations.
Numbers also adds wide color gamut image support and tab support in order to work on multiple spreadsheets in one window.
