Hitman fans have more to look forward to. IO Interactive, a Square Enix studio, has unveiled the “Hitman: Absolution” Deluxe Professional Edition.
The new and strictly limited Deluxe Professional Edition will include a 10" Agent 47 vinyl statue and the Professional Edition of the game, and will contain – a hard-cover Hitman: Absolution art book, an in-depth making of DVD and the Agency Gun-Pack DLC.
What’s more, pre-Order customers will also receive immediate access to the Sniper Challenge experience. An exclusive standalone gameplay experience, only available with “Hitman: Absolution” preorders. This will feature online leader boards plus the ability to carry over skill and weapon unlocks into “Absolution.”
"Our community and fans mean the world to us and we've worked hard to create a collectors edition which we think they'll love," said Jon Brooke, Brand Director IO Interactive.
The Deluxe Professional Edition, on the other hand, will feature striking presentation packaging and is available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC on November 20, 2012.
According to the game’s official page, “HITMAN: ABSOLUTION follows Agent 47, a cold-blooded assassin, who takes on his most dangerous contract to date. Betrayed by those he once trusted - and now hunted by the police - he suddenly finds himself at the center of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world.”
“Hitman: Absolution” is not set in a specific Hitman timeline. Confirmed plot details include series protagonist Agent 47 assassinating his former International Contract Agency handler Diana Burnwood early in the game and the antagonist identified as Blake Dexter, a new character to the series.
