Ubisoft had been vague about its new tech thriller Watch Dogs 2 and there have been nothing much to go on besides the fact that we know about its hip new protagonist - the parkouring hacktivist named Marcus Holloway. Fortunately, they released a new story trailer that outlines more about the game.
DedSec Characters
In the trailer, Ubisoft revealed the members of the DedSec crew, an elite group of hackers engaged in a quest to shut down the plans of power hungry Blume CTO, Dusan Numec. Ubisoft as it seems is going for a lighter feel in the game than its predecessor by introducing this extremely cool crew made up of charming and intruiging characters, but the action still promises to be engaging. Even Dusan Numec, the antagonist, is a man-bun wearing yoga enthusiast.
In a post from the PlayStation Blog by Communications Specialist, Chris Watters, he said "The protagonist, Marcus Holloway, has already stopped a mass surveillance initiative in Oakland using his unique set of skills. Sitara and her principled, artistic approach may not always vibe with Wrench and his aggressive, chaotic style, but there's no doubt that both are passionate, driving forces fueling DedSec's efforts. In this trailer, we also get a glimpse of Josh and Horatio, two other members that make up the DedSec crew. "
Watch Dogs 2 is set in San Francisco Bay Area in open world and the player is said to have a powerful array of hacking tools at disposal, anything to stop Blume CTO from infringing on the freedom of its citizens.

Watchdogs Gameplay
Polygon also released 13 minutes of gameplay footage of the new Ubisoft game. It features a campaign story mission "Haum Sweet Haum" with hot new parkour hacktivist Marcus Holloway (shout out to the doughnut shirt), talking to the chaotic and weird masked hacker named Wrench (a.k.a. the death of me) as he went to town on a toaster.
"Watch Dogs 2" will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 15.
