Motorola Atrix HD is finally here. The company has made the third-generation Atrix device live even before making any official announcement.
While the phone shares striking resemblance with Motorola Atrix 2 and a DROID RAZR with its similar sleek profile and a Kevlar covered back, front of the camera looks exactly like the "Dinara" image that was leaked back in June. Dinara was launched last year in China and a host of rumors were flying high about a possible launch of the phone on AT&T ever since.
The new Atrix smartphone comes with dimensions of 69.9 x 133.5 x 8.4 mm and weighs 140 grams. It features a 4.5-inch 720p HD LCD screen with ColorBoost technology, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.0 OS, 8GB memory, a microSD card slot and a 1,780mAh battery and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. On the back is a 8 megapixel shooter that can also capture 1080p videos.
Unlike most of the phones available currently, Atrix HD uses on-screen navigation controls like the Galaxy Nexus. Moreover, the phone boasts its business-friendly features that include "Government-grade encryption" on board, VPN and support for Motorola's webtop accessories.
The phone will be running on AT&T's LTE network. Details of pricing and release dates are not available as of now but can be expected once Motorola makes official announcement of launching Atrix HD.
