Michael Schumacher Latest News And Updates: F1 Legend Condition Not Improving? Family Can No Longer Afford Therapy?

The legendary F1 racer Michael Schumacher's condition remains under wraps as family and friends opted for privacy amid this trying time. However, rumors keep circulating online, claiming conflicting reports on the racer's state.

Recently, GamenGuide reported that the 47-year old German racer can no longer walk and speak for good. Rumor claims that Michael Schumacher is not improving and remains the same since he was first admitted following the accident.

It can be recalled that the former F1 champion got involved in a skiing accident at the French Alpine Resort of Meribel in France on Dec. 29, 2013. The said accident led him to be placed under medically induced coma after incurring severe head injuries.

Meanwhile, contrary to that report, previous news claimed that Michael Schumacher is on his way to full recovery and is now able to walk with assistance. He is also believed to have undergone speech therapy

However, Michael Schumacher's family lawyer slammed the said rumors and referred to it as "false." The F1 racer's family is also said to sue "Die Bunte" magazine after it published a front-page exclusive story claiming positive progress on the racer's health.

It can be recalled that the magazine published a "fabricated" statement from an anonymous source claiming that Michael Schumacher can walk with assistance. The report quoted, "Michael is very thin. But he can once again walk a little with the help of his therapists. He manages to make a couple of steps. And he can also raise an arm."

On the other hand, GamenGuide also reported that Michael Schumacher's family can no longer afford the therapy and medications needed for his full recovery. The source claims that the Schumacher family has allegedly sold some of his properties to pay for the expenses of his treatments. Apparently, the Mercedes E55 AMG car of the famed racer, which cost around $665,000, is currently for sale. The family allegedly sold their family vacation villa and personal jet as well.

As of this writing, there has been no solid confirmation regarding these claims. Michael Schumacher fans can only hope and pray that the F1 icon will soon recover.
