Marvel's Final Luke Cage Trailer Features An Extended Look Into The Coming Netflix Series And Iron Fist Teaser

The final full length Luke Cage trailer has finally been released before the upcoming Netflix Series and Marvel hero hits the screens on September 30, 2016, where the whole first season will be available in its entirety. Played by Mike Colter, Luke Cage first appeared in the other Netflix exclusive, Jessica Jones, and is now getting its own series.

Luke Cage Is A Hero And More

Luke Cage has super strength and is indestructable. His skin is impossible to penetrate as bullets have been known to richochet when they hit. He's known to survive explosions and withstand impact when building collapses. These are powers he gained during his time in prison, for a crime he was wrongfully convicted of. Luke Cage is known as the reluctant bar owner back in Jessica Jones and became her eventual love interest, which obviously made him a target of Killgrave, the series' main villain who was obssessed with the gorgeous femme fatale - Jessica.

Villains In Luke Cage

In the new Luke Cage series, as per every Marvel Netflix Exclusives, he will have his own villains. Cornell Stokes played by Mahershala Ali, or better known as Cottonmouth, is a crimelord who also owns a popular nightclub in Harlem. His henchmen got in trouble in Luke's neighborhood and this puts him at odds with our superhuman friend. Other villains include Stokes' cousin Mariah Drillard played by Alfre Woodard, and a villain named Diamondback.


Iron Fist

Luke Cage is Netflix' and Marvel's third collaboration project after Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Plans of a fourth series starring Game of Thrones' Finn Jones who will play Danny Rand, a martial arts expert who was orphaned as a kid and also has the ability to call upon mystical powers. All four heroes will come together in the Defender Series scheduled to be released in 2017. Teaser of the new Iron Fist has surfaced and the hype got all too real.
