Grand Theft Auto 5 – More Details Revealed

It has been sometime since the “GTA” fans had any kind of news regarding the arrival of Rockstar’s highly anticipated “Grand Theft Auto 5.” However, a tad bit of information related to the new game has arrived this week and we are hoping for more information in the upcoming weeks.

For some time now, it has been widely believed that Rockstar will be releasing some sort of detail or possibly a new trailer at the forthcoming GamesCom 2012. GamesCom 2012 will take place from August 15 to 19.

Coming back to “GTA 5,” although it was reported last week that the release date may be revealed at GamesCom, a recent Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) listing indicated, according to a Bitbag report, that “Grand Theft Auto 3” and “Grand Theft Auto Vice City” (remakes or HD collection) may be releasing for the PlayStation 3 as a digital download for the PlayStation Network.

What this means is that if these rumors turn out to be true, you can wave goodbye to any kind of new information and details about the new game in the recent future, let alone the release of the game.

Gamingbolt also reported that if you pause the GamesCom 2012 trailer at 1:50, you can see a short clip of “Grand Theft Auto 5.”

In another report by Gameranx, a fan got so frantic that he lost his mind regarding the arrival of the game. “In february you said that you will start talking about gta v in a few months and its been 4 months and nothing. i thought you will release info at e3 because when i hear a few months i think 3-4 months,” he wrote inarticulately on GTAForums.

The fan, to everybody’s surprise, even got an official response from Rockstar Support, which told him that they are unable to provide him with any information regarding the game's release date, and added that games like these can take little over 4 years to develop (given the budget and scope of AAA titles).

Stay tuned for more updates on the game and check out the GamesCon 2012 trailer below (Remember to pause at 1:50)
