Doctor Strange Will Be In ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ Confirmed By Benedict Cumberbatch

Well, it seems like when the live action movie version of "Doctor Strange" hits theaters in November, it would definitely not be the last time that we will see him, as lead actor Benedict Cumberbatch confirmed that the character will be in the "Avengers: Infinity War."

The character of Dr. Stephen Strange is pretty prominent in the Infinity Wars comic book, so it has fans wondering if the character will be pushed into the movies which will be released on 2019.

Well, wonder no more as Benedict Cumberbatch himself confirmed his involvement with the surefire blockbuster in an interview posted to Express. And this is what he had to say about the matter:

"To get us all together will be quite something. That's why this character is being introduced, to open up the next chapter."

If fans thought that Marvel's last blockbuster hit "Captain America: Civil War" had too many superheroes in it. Well, it looks like "Avengers: Infinity War" is looking to squeeze in even more with Doctor Strange now on board.

He also said in the interview regarding the scheduling challenges of having too many high-profile Hollywood actors to get their timings in sync. But if anyone can pull it off, it is definitely Marvel Studios as they rake in billions of dollars in revenue.

And oh yeah, Doctor Strange is also reported to be part of Thor's new adventure, "Thor: Ragnarok." Though it is said to be only a cameo, it is definitely a go as Thor was in a scene in civilian clothes with a business card that reads "177A Bleecker Street."

Comic fans know this as the Sorcerer Supreme's New York address. The big question is, will this be the starting point of his involvement with the Infinity Wars?

That is definitely a big possibility now that Benedict Cumberbatch has confirmed that Marvel's resident sorcerer is now part of "Avengers: Infinity War."
