More good news for all you "Mass Effect" fans out there. As per latest reports, the upcoming "Leviathan" DLC for "Mass Effect 3" has been confirmed by voice actor Anthony Skordi. The new DLC is set to arrive after the company released the free "Extended Cut" that offered a healthier conclusion to the Shepard story.
Skordi, in an interview with Eurogamer, confirmed that he is set to play the Reaper named Leviathan in the unannounced add-on. The new add-on, which is set before the ending of "Mass Effect 3," will centre on a traitorous Reaper named Leviathan.
The new story revolves around Leviathan, a traitor, who killed one of his own and has been exiled for 10 years. Leviathan controls a programmed Batarian colony, where Shepard meets him, after being sent to rescue scientist Ann Brynson, and can have him join the fight against the Reapers.
"So the Reapers did not fully exterminate their creators," a line in a dialogue states. "That suggests they are fallible, even on large or long-term scales."
It is believed that BioWare will unveil a new DLC for "Mass Effect 3" at the company's San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday. Comic-Con starts on Thursday.
