The wait for Apple fans, to get a fully functional Google+ app on iPad, is finally over. Apple now offers a dedicated Google+ client for the Apple-based tablet owners.
Keeping aside the fact that the new Google+ client looks absolutely stunning, the app for the iPad offers some tablet-only functionality, like the ability to pinch and expand posts in your stream to add your comments, use two fingers to drag a post from your stream to easily re-share it and start a Hangout from your iPad and stream it to your TV using AirPlay.
What’s more, new features include Google+ Events and you can now attach instant upload photos to your posts, and, importantly, start and join hangouts. Google had earlier promised to release an updated and better experience delivering Google+ for iPad at the recent Google I/0 Conference.
Although Google+ social network does not have great user base or has managed to create rave amongst users, it still offers the best possible design bearing apps for the mobile as well as tablet platforms. One of the most popular social networking site Facebook's mobile and tablet apps, on the other hand, are yet to catch up with interesting user experience as well as performance upgrades.
The app is now available for download at the Apple App store for free.
