The best-selling novel by Paula Hawkins entitled "Girl on the Train" has been adapted into a movie with the same title which is set to be released in theatres next week. The trailer of the film alone has already created suspense in the hearts of the viewers, which just makes it all the more exciting to watch out for.

"Girl on the Train" has been one of the fastest-selling novels in history with a reported 15 million copies sold globally, landing the top spot of The New York Times Best Sellers List for over a year. Thus, it is no surprise that her novel has been adapted into a movie that sends thrill to the viewers.

Emily Blunt Plays The Role Of An Alcoholic Woman, Struggling With Her Marriage Falling Apart

The movie is directed by Tate Taylor and was adapted by Erin Cressida Wilson, starring actress Emily Blunt. Emily plays the role of an alcoholic woman, struggling with her addiction and her divorce with husband, played by actor Justin Theroux. She sees a girl in the tunnel and then suddenly disappears in plain sight, and she is being questioned of her disappearance.

Emily portrays the role of Rachel, who takes the commute on her way to work every day that passes through the British trail. After her marriage has failed, everything else in her life has started to fall apart and still takes the same commute every day. She obsesses over the lives of others while she takes the train, and thus begins the plot of the movie.

The film is also starring Luke Evans, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Lisa Kudrow and many other Hollywood stars. Produced by DreamWorks Pictures and Reliance Entertainment, the film "Girl on the Train" is set to hit theatres on October 7.
