The crime drama “NCIS: Los Angeles” made its thrilling premiere recently with biggest revelations on the lives of the agents.
Will Corbin Duggan’s Management Prove Effective?
Under Secretary of Defense Corbin Duggan (Jackson Hurst) is firm on new leadership as he takes over the Los Angeles unit from Hetty (Linda Hunt) and Granger (Miguel Ferrer) until the culprit can be apprehended.
Hetty’s retirement seems to bother her but instead of dwelling on her sad departure, she looks solid with her decision. But it looks like the premiere episode is not her final appearance in the series. A report noted on her possible return especially for the team that she deeply nurtures.
Meanwhile as the squad takes their treacherous mission to Syria to capture a high-profile target, one team member got seriously injured. Will Kensi make it despite the risks and threats involved in their hazardous task? How about her presumed wedding to Deeks? Are wedding bells still possible for the couple?
Daniela Ruah, who plays the brave character of Kensi Blye, is currently on maternity leave in real life. It looks like it will take time before she will be able to reprise her role and her long hiatus from the show will lead to major changes in storylines especially with her job and relationship with Deeks.
As LL Cool J (Agent Sam Hanna) teased in an interview, the actor and rapper gave “#Somebody’s got to die”, “#Somebody’s got to go, you know?”, “#Changes” and “#You need to watch” as answers when asked about the possible hashtags for the new season.
As the action drama moves forward, every question will be answered as mysteries are being unfold. For now, it’s safe for the audience to ready themselves with more shocking revelations.
“NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8 with its titled episode “The Queen’s Gambit” returns on CBS on October 2.
