After quite a long wait for its installment, second season of "Code Black" has finally aired and its new characters have been introduced. The premiere has gotten positive reviews despite some of the characters of the past season who did not return.
"Code Black" is a medical drama that centres on the lives of residents in a fictional hospital, as they struggle in saving the lives of those being rushed into the emergency room. There are many doctors introduced in the series during the past season but not all of them have returned to the second installment.
Rob Lowe Makes Debut On Premiere Of "Code Black" Season 2
It is no surprise that there are new faces in the recently premiered season two of "Code Black," and one that made the greatest impact is the debut of actor Rob Lowe as Colonel Ethan Willis. He saves a boy with a shark-bite injury, alongside Dr. Mike and even does a procedure that hasn't been done on humans before. Thankfully, it has saved the life of the patient.
However, Dr. Mike falls off the helicopter and drops on to the sand, as Ethan jumps into the ocean to save his new colleague. The effect of his accident has then led to a much bigger problem, which causes Ethan to want to drill a hole into Mike's skull in order to save his life. As the episode ends, Mike is still unconscious but alive as Ethan has saved his life.
New Characters Also Meant Losing Old Characters Of Past Season
This then marked Lowe's debut into the series as he suddenly saves the life of one of the doctors in the hospital that he is currently working in. However, he is not the only new character in the series that was introduced in the second season premiere of "Code Black." New characters also meant losing some of the old ones, including the love birds, Neal and Christa. Their whereabouts are reportedly not going to be discussed in the series, as claimed by reports.
Rob Lowe's Colonel Ethan Willis has received many positive feedbacks from the viewers, especially that he is known as a great eye-candy to all the ladies watching the series. There is definitely more in store for "Code Black" season two as the series progresses.
