'Sons Of Anarchy' Prequel Cast, News And Update: Sutter Hints Return Of Charlie Hunnam?

"Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter, tweeted just recently about the progress of the series' spin-off and teased fans with the caption "Working hard on some sweet surprises," along with a photo of Marcus Alvarez played by Emilio Rivera. This made fans hopeful that the prequel will include Charlie Hunnam.

In another tweet, the creator posted a photo of Alvarez and Jackson "Jax" Teller played by Hunnam with the caption "My favorite kind of family. Dysfunctional." With the hashtags "#MayansMC #SOA" As everyone may already know, Mayans MC is the title of the show's prequel.

It can be remembered that Sutter has confirmed "Sons of Anarchy" prequel will focus on Jackson Teller's father, John Teller, and will take place in a time where Hunnam's character wasn't born yet. However, after his posts of hints on Twitter, many fans are hoping that Hunnam will still be in the cast but possibly to portray a different character.

Hunnam and Sutter denied rumors circulating about the alleged rift between the two which caused the actor to lose the lead role in the series. In fact, both are seen tweeting each other wherein Sutter was challenged by the actor to do push ups. The tweet was captioned with "Charlie Hunnam's #22PushupChallenge DAY 7! @sutterink consider yourself challenged " Sutter accepted the daily challenge and even said, "I love you, Charlie!"

Sons of Anarchy is a crime drama series that centers on the life Jackson "Jax" Teller, who is the vice president of a close-knit outlaw motorcycle club. It starts with him who questions the club's brotherhood, loyalty, redemption and himself. The show has been nominated numerous times such as Golden Globe Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Drama category, Satellite Award for the Best Actress - Television Series (Drama) category, TCA for the Individual Achievement in Drama category and Charlie Hunnam in the Critic's Choice Television Awards for the Best Actor in A Drama Series category and many more.
