Motorola has slashed the price of its MotoACTV smartwatch from $249.99 to $149.99.
While Motorola's MotoACTV watch is just a small part of the company's products, the world's first Android smartwatch features a 1.6 inch color touchscreen display, a 600MHz processor and can sync your Android smartphone to display text and call information while you're working out, or running, biking, or golfing.
Now the 8GB model will be available at $149.99, 16GB at $199.99 and the Multi-Sport Edition will come at $299.99 ditching the previous $399.99 price tag.
Motorola's smartwatch works as a cutting-edge fitness tracker and smart MP3 player. The small, sweat proof and stylish device packs in an Accusense technology and GPS to track your workout data like time, distance, speed, calories burned and heart rate. It also lets you monitor your performance for running, cycling, golf and for over 40 other activities directly on your device and online at the MOTOACTV Training Portal. The smart MP3 player not only stores all your favorite songs but also "learns" what tunes motivate you the most.
Display of the device provides quick and easy touch access to the required data and the screen automatically adjusts to lighting conditions to provide clear view, indoors and out. It features a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass.
MotoACTV also sports heart rate monitor and Bluetooth.
