"Justice League" director Zack Snyder has recently released a new teaser image that seems to hint at a Deathstroke appearence for the upcoming DC superhero movie that is being currently filmed in the U.K.
The picture that Snyder posted on Twitter featured him wearing a Batman gauntlet while working on what seems to be a Deathstroke storyboard. The Twitter photo that has been creating rumors was hashtagged with #JusticeLeague and #Cosplay.
Fans may recall that Ben Affleck, who plays the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, posted a mysterious video online in August, revealing that the assassin-villain Deathstroke would be appearing in the upcoming "Justice League" movie. This was reconfirmed by the picture that Snyder has posted. Joe Manganiello is set to give life to the character.
A more interesting note lies in the question, who is Deathstroke talking to in the scene? The photo doesn't clearly reveal the faces of the characters, but a cueball head makes it look like Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor.
Who Is Deathstroke?
A character created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, Deathstroke is a famous mercenary in the world of DC Comics. The villain has gone toe-to-toe with the Dark Knight on multiple occasions and has beaten him in hand-to-hand combat more than once.
"Justice League" Synopsis
Bruce Wayne (Batman) since fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work to recruit a team of metahumans to fight against a newly awakened threat to the world. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes, which adds Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash, it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
