It seems that Samsung knows how to keep its users happy!
After launching Galaxy S3 smartphone just a few months ago, the South Korean electronics giant informed the media that it again plans to unravel a "major" Galaxy device on August 15.
Samsung Electronics America on Friday sent a notice to the press "for a major product announcement and unveiling of the newest GALAXY device," which will be held at an undisclosed location in San Francisco.
Currently, one of the most-rumored devices, apart from Apple's iPhone 5 which is making a name for itself in the blogosphere, is the next generation Galaxy Note, popularly dubbed as Galaxy Note 2. But another device that we might also expect to see on the August event is Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet.

Features of Galaxy Note 2 Smartphone
According to rumors, the latest Note 2 will pack in a 5.5-inch display with high resolution, a quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, and a 12 megapixel primary camera with an enhanced sensor. The phone will be especially built to improve shock resistance. Galaxy Note 2 will offer improved battery life and will run Android's latest Jelly Bean operating system.
Moreover, the display of the phone will also have a Super AMOLED variety, higher WSXGA+ resolution (1680 x 1050 pixels) with 360ppi pixel density and will feature a thin and flexible unbreakable plane display (UBP). The latest Note model might also have 4G connectivity as standard for all international units. Readers can be delighted to know that the next generation Galaxy Note 2 smartphone is expected to have features like S Beam, S Voice, NFC and SmartStay, similar to the Galaxy S3.
Features of Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet
Rumors suggest, the new Galaxy Note tab will sport a dimension of 256.7 x 175.3 x 8.9 mm and will weigh 583 grams. Screen of the device will be 10.1-inch with 1280 x 800 pixels Widescreen PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen with 149 ppi pixel density. The tablet will include 1GB RAM and 16/32/64 GB storage capacity with a microSD card slot that can be expanded up to 32GB. Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet will run Google's latest Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), feature dual-core Exynos 1.4 GHz processor, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth version 3.0 with A2DP, USB version 2.0 and a Li-Ion 7000 mAh battery.
The new tablet will also have 3.15-megapixel rear-facing camera (2048x1536 pixels) with LED flash and autofocus features and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling, rumors indicate. Samsung, reportedly, plans to pack in the Stylus-pen with the device and will also add Stylus Pen-oriented apps.
