BRUCEFilm has revealed that the company is working on a new, interesting project called “Stay Dead.” “Stay Dead” is a brand new beat ‘em up that is set to introduce a new gameplay style called Motion Capture Game.
As per the company, a Motion picture game is their idea of entertainment of the 21st century. It a true interactive meeting point between movies and videogames. Playing this new kind of game is said to be like watching the movie ‘Indiana Jones’ and being able to command Indiana in real-time, just like if it was Mario or Lara Croft.
“Stay Dead is a Motion Picture Game with instantaneous arcade gameplay. Our purpose is to melt pre-rendered graphic with real shots together with cinematographic direction and an arcade gameplay to create a unique and brand new experience. Motion Picture Game is a potentially revolutionary product born from the joint experience in film and videogames field,” according to BRUCEFilm’s official page.
In “Stay dead,” even if the graphic is entirely shot in real life, players can freely move their character just like in a normal arcade game, and they can perform more than 150 different techniques distributed in as many as five stages.
At its core, the game is a ’round beat’em up’ like Street Fighter with elements taken from rythm games and in every level, players will fight against a different martial art wrestler.
Although an in-game footage is not available as of now, you can still view some videos from “Stay Dead” at its official website. Hopefully, BRUCEfilm will release a new video with pure in-game footage. Stay Tuned for more.
