The trio of Ash, Kelly and Pablo are back on board. Finally, they find themselves in Jacksonville, Florida enjoying a great time. But two seemingly demon-possessed women suddenly appear and tried to kill Ash.
The Fight Goes On
The three had a truce with Ruby, played by Lucy Lawless, that unfortunately didn't last long. They were forced to go to Ash's hometown, Elk Grove, Michigan, to continue the fight.
Ken The Critic had a talk with the stars of "Ash vs. Evil Dead" Season 2 about what is in store for the rest of the season. Bruce Campbell, Ray Santiago, and Dana DeLorenzo were happy with the addition of Lee Majors, the original "Six Million Dollar Man" and the star of "Fall Guy."
Majors will play the role of Brock Williams, Ash's father that he has not seen in 30 years. But their recent situation forced him to ask his father's help for a place to stay in Elk Grove.
Then the three were able to find Ruby and attempted to send all her children back where they belong - in hell.
Great Help From Advanced Technology
The newest "Ash vs Evil Dead" Season 2 is harnessing advanced technology very well. It is delivering more true-to-life information such as blood that really looks real on screen.
"They have more nozzles this year on the blood-delivery system," said Bruce Campbell. "They can do a wider spread of blood, down to a very find jet of blood. We've all felt the sting ... but we know that our suffering is your gain," he added.
Co-star Dana DeLorenzo recalls having buckets of fake blood being dumped on her. She said it was, "26 gallons just on me .... Mr. Rob Tapert was like, 'Oh, we have a cannon of blood.'"
Campbell said they did it for the fans who apparently want the characters of "Ash vs. Evil Dead" Season 2 drenched with blood all over.
