AMD RX 490: More Powerful, More High-end & More Expensive

The RX 490 is currently AMD's most anticipated product. Although its release date is still uncertain, people are excited about what the graphics card has in store for fans. According to rumors, the AMD RX 490 will be one of the most competitive cards on the market

According to some rumors, the AMD RX 490 will be featuring a dual GPU system and will come with top-tier hardware. It will basically be a major improvement from AMD's past graphic cards, so needless to say, it will be quite costlier as well. Predictions suggest that the AMD RX 490 will be way better than NVIDIA's GTX 1070 and 1080.

WCCF Tech suggests that the AMD RX 490 is aimed at 4K gaming. If so, it might actually outperform the GTX 1080. Furthermore, it is expected that AMD will bring in high-quality performance though the RX 490. According to a source, it will get 60 fps at 1080p.

The question of whether the AMD RX 490 is Polaris or Vega-based is still unanswered. However, it was said that that the graphics card is likely to be Polaris-based. Nevertheless, if the card will not show up this year, then it could easily be Vega-based.
