An ad for Arkham VR, which is a $20-independent game made by lead Arkham studio Rocksteady, complete with Mark Hamill afflicting his role as the Joker, suggests that it is PSVR-only until the end of March 2017.
"The core narrative is about 60 minutes in duration, however additional content is unlocked that provides about another 90 minutes of gameplay on top of that," Ginn said. "So there are plenty of reasons to play through the game multiple times in order to see everything that we have put into it."
Your main character is Batman in the game, which Rocksteady claims "redefines what it means to be the Batman." Players will make use of the Caped Crusader's bat devices as part of a story that "threatens the lives of Batman's closest allies."
"Batman: Arkham VR is an intense murder mystery in the style of the classic Batman comic books, but with a strong dose of the dark psychology that the Arkham games are well known for," Rocksteady's Bill Green said in June when the game was affirmed at E3.
It's not a full-price game yet, as it will sell for $20, it top the charts on Best Buy and GameStop. Batman: Arkham VR is Rocksteady's final Batman game, following 2015's Batman: Arkham Knight. According to Shacknews, Batman: Arkham VR is a PlayStation VR launch title, set to premiere on October 13.
PlayStation VR appears on October 13, priced at $400 for the headgear alone. You also need a PS4 and a PlayStation camera to use the device.
