Hearthstone Balance Patch is Out but There are Some Problems

Fans of Hearthstones are happy to hear that a new balance update has already been released. However, they might encounter a few problems after downloading the patch.

Some of those who have downloaded the Hearthstone patch received an error message which says "unable to load mono library." The good news, however, is it is not a major problem which takes another patch to solve. All players need to do when they encounter this message is click the "Options" button found on the upper-left corner of the Battle.net launcher. After that, scroll down the list and choose "scan and repair."

After following the steps, the system will automatically fix any error encountered in the download and players can play the game after that.

However, those Hearthstone players who have Warlock as their character or use the Yogg-Saron cards might be in for a surprise because Blizzard has nerfed them in the latest 6.1.3 update. With the reconfiguration, Yogg-Saron cards will stop casting when it is being transformed, destroyed, silenced, or returned to the owner.

"We tried a bunch of things and we think this is a significant enough nerf that it could reduce the amount it gets seen (especially in tournaments), while still maintaining the dream for people who love the card," according to Blizzard.

Aside from the Yogg-Saron, Blizzard also made an update to Hearthstone's Classic and Basic cards. It also took some of Shaman's deck building abilities to make it more interesting and the battle against the Shaman less frustrating. Along with these changes, is the introduction of the Welcome Bundle pack which includes a Legendary pack and 10 Classic packs for only $5. They also plan to take away all cards from the Arena mode.

According to Blizzard, all these changes will be effective before the Hearthstone Championship Tour's Last Call that will take place in October.
