"Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" was released last night and saying that it was heartbreaking is an understatement. Aside from that, a new song titled "Love Is Over" by Baek Ji Young was released on the show, which just made everything feel even sadder. So what exactly happened with Ra On and Lee Yeong on "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" episode 13?
The show picked up where it left off after Prince Lee Yeong was stabbed by masked men in the middle of the night. The first scene of the episode showed how Ra On found out that she is the daughter of a known rebel and traitor, Hong Gyung Nae.
Back in the palace, Prince Lee Yeong and Ra On shared some tender moments on screen but poor Ra On, feeling a bit responsible for what happened to the crown prince, has decided to leave the palace for good.
During the course of the episode, it was found out that nine of the ten rebels who attacked the crown prince was seen dead. Prince Lee Yeong realized that there must be an insider who helped the attackers to get in. Luckily, they had managed to catch one of the attackers alive.
Before the attacker can even confess, Kim Eui Gyo threatened him not to admit that it was him who sent them and told him what he should say if he was asked. When the attacker was tortured, he falsely confessed that the daughter of Hong Gyung Nae opened the gates for them that night and the identity of Hong Ra On was made known.
On her last night at the palace, she spent it on the bed of Prince Lee Yeong. She was on his side and wondered if they were really meant to meet. When the Prince woke up, she was no longer there.
The Prince asked Kim Eui Gyo why everything in the palace was in chaos. He revealed that they are looking for the daughter of traitor Hong Gyung Nae but they do not know what she looks like. He mentioned that the name of the daughter is Hong Ro An which shocked the Prince.
He went to her quarters, only to find her clothes neatly piled up and her favorite bracelet left on top.
