The Klaroline tandem has been shipped by the fans ever since their love-hate relationship started during "The Vampire Diaries" season 3, and now it looks like Caroline will reportedly be the one to save Klaus in "The Originals."
Klaus Mikaelson To Be Saved By His Ultimate Love, Caroline In "The Originals" Season 4?
Fans of "The Originals" who have shipped the love story between Klaus Mikaelson and Caroline Forbes during "The Vampire Diaries" have been intensely hoping for a cross-over between the two shows. It has been speculated that it will finally happen in the upcoming "The Originals" season four.
Klaus and Caroline have already interacted in previous seasons of "The Vampire Diaries" however, it was only through a conversation they had over the phone where Klaus said goodbye. This has been a disappointment to the Klaroline fans, but it looks like their shining moment will finally happen in the new season of "The Originals."
As it can be recalled, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) was captured with no hope for rescue by Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) since the rest of the former's family has already left New Orleans. Many viewers feared that he may no longer return in season four. However, that has been deemed untrue by Morgan himself.
Joseph Morgan Teases Storyline Of Upcoming Season 4 Of "The Originals"
In a video he posted on Instagram, Morgan teased the fans that there will be betrayal in the new season of "The Originals," where friends will become enemies and enemies will become friends. In the end, he revealed that Klaus will definitely be back. There isn't any confirmation yet as to who will save Klaus from his demise, but rumor has it that it is going to be Caroline.
Caroline (Candice Accola-King) is already with Stefan (Paul Wesley), however with Elena (Nina Dobrev) to allegedly return in "The Vampire Diaries" there have been speculations that she will be back with her first love, Stefan while Caroline goes to New Orleans and saves Klaus from his unfortunate situation.
However, these are all allegations but the rumors haven't died down yet. Only time will tell whether or not there is any truth to it, as "The Originals" will return sometime in mid-2017.
