"Forza Horizon 3" is set on making the gamer the newest boss of the Horizon Festival. Game Developer Playground Games is believed to be handing the keys over to the most refined open world racer and will allow gamers to do anything they want with the game. The game is now available on PC and Xbox One.
Previously in America and Europe, "Forza Horizon 3" will be set in Australia with full effect settings in the lush forests, dusty plains and golden beaches that is reminiscent of both the Burnout Paradise and Outrun. "Forza Horizon 3" is reportedly among the best looking Xbox One games. However, some pop-ins have been noted on the Xbox One.
"Forza Horizon 3" is said to be populated with rival Drivatars and features a plethora of events like PR stunts and the comeback of spectacular showcases set across 488 sprawling roads in the fictionalized Australian setting. The gamer will function as the Horizon boss with access to new routes and creating own events be it an exhibition, time trial, a vs event with an online opponent or even a championship. Additionally picking car classes, weather, time of day, number of laps, event flyers and names can also be customized in the game. While XP is generated via driving and racing, credits and fans are only gained through events.
In other news, "Forza Horizon 3: The Smoking Tire Pack" DLC is rumored to include new cars to the game. The news came from the Japanese Xbox Store which revealed that cars like the 2016 Aston Martin Vulcan and the 1976 Jeep CD-5 Renegade among others will be included in the "Smoking Tire Pack."
"Forza Horizon 3" next expansion is yet to be officially announced. However, its presence on the Japanese Xbox Store caused speculation that the next DLC will be revealed soon. Meanwhile, a few Redditors revealed that the game's difficulty to run at 1080p/60FPS was said to be due to ESR that uses a lot of CPU to decrypt the files while playing.
