Apple is broadening its horizons ever since it launched Apple Pay last 2014. The tech giant wants to ease the consumers' problems with the help of its apps.
Since 2014, Apple introduced Apple Pay in nine countries such as U.S., China, Australia, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland and UK. Recently Apple Pay have started on Canada with the partnership of leading banks such as CIBC, RBC, MO, TD and Scotiabank.
Apple Pay Is Now In Russia
Apple Pay is connected with major banks with credit cards. Using iPhone and Apple Watches, payments are made easier without swiping credit cards. Apple is expanding its services by launching Apple Pay in Russia. The tech giant formed a partnership with Mastercard and Sberbank in Moscow, Reuters reported.
During the launch of Apple Pay, Russian companies and businesses attended, such as ATAK, Auchan, Azbuka Vkusa, bp, Magnit, Media Markt, M.Video, TsUM and authorized Apple reseller stores, according to Apple Insider.
The latest move by Apple is considered as an international improvement for marketing.
How To Use Apple Pay?
With a simple touch of finger on Touch ID on iPhone, there is no need to whip out the credit card anymore. Apple Watch can also be used in using Apple Pay. The program is also very convenient when paying apps purchased in the App Store without creating an account.
Apple Pay is a safer way to pay for anythine because Apple provides a different and specific number with a unique code. Credit card owners are sure that their information will not be recorded on the system of the companies, according to Apple.
In addition to the privacy of transactions made by the owner, their payments are recorded in Wallet for their own personal record. Apple Pay is for online payments that are compatible with Mac OS 12.12 and for payments in app purchases.
Apple will launch Apple Pay next in New Zealand this fall with the tech giant's partnership with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ).
