Building websites is now easier - thanks to the new startup website creation tool, the chatbot Heek.
Entrepreneurs who wish to have their own websites can build one by simply chatting with a bot and answering a few questions. Heek makes it possible to build websites using the answers provided by a user.
The bot asks about the name of the person, their type of business and the kind of design they want that meets their business requirements. Designs can be customized and the bot itself will prompt a user to save their work until they get to the bottom of creating their own website.
An easier way to build a website
This is not the first time that a chatbot has been used to provide a web service. But most of the time, chatbots have fallen short of their promise due to the restrictive nature of what they can do. Heek tries to change the game by handling it through conversations. Not all start-ups can hire a professional website designer. With Heek, all it takes is one click to get started.
Heek makes website building easier and smarter by suggesting things a startup website might need. It can be adding a contact form, a navigation menu or a business address. Pop-up wizards are very basic and easy to understand and designing a website is a walk in the park. Customizing the pages is also possible by uploading product information, like photos, prices and other things.
Swapping photos and editing text requires direct interaction with the web builder, another wizard that allows users to swap photos and edit text according to their preferences. There are already stock images and placeholder texts available to make the site creation easier.
Affordable website builder
Heek costs $25 monthly for annual subscription and $30 for monthly subscriptions. It is also available on free trial for 14 days. The fees cover basic website support to get it rolling like the custom domain name, site creation, search engine optimization and customer support.
Nicolas Fayon who is the former co-founder of PageYourself, a customization tool used by Facebook Page, created Heek late last year to help smaller start-ups get their own websites for an affordable price.
